It is composed of 2 identical subunits, each subunit has a molecular weight of 70kD, a hydrophobic group and an enzyme catalytic active center outside the cell membrane surface. Widely exists in the human liver and various tissues, located on the cell membrane, and mainly exists in the bile duct and sinus space membrane in the liver. |
| clinical | 5 '-NT determination in serum is mainly used for diagnosis of hepatobiliary system diseases and differential diagnosis of bone diseases. The increase of 5 '-NT activity in serum is mainly seen in hepatobiliary system diseases, such as obstructive jaundice, primary and secondary liver cancer, hepatitis, etc., and its activity changes are usually consistent with the activity of ALP.
